The Canadian OC
Byers is starring in TVs "Falcon Beach." "We've been getting the comparisons to 'The OC' and stuff like that, and we affectionately called it 'The FB,'" he says. "I do know that the people who like 'The OC' will love this show. It gives a Canadian feel but not in the sense that people from anywhere around the world wouldn't be able to grasp what the summer love and the feeling of living a Canadian summer is all about."

Gaming Geek
Byers says he's different from Jason Tanner, his character on "Falcon Beach." "I think he's probably a bit cooler than I am...I'm a video game geek," he says. "I don't know if he [Jason] plays video games or not. But in the town where he comes from he gets to do so many cool things, which I got to live through and do. I got to learn how to drive a motorbike...I got to use wave-runners...and I got to learn how to wakeboard."

A Great Guest
Byers has made guest appearances on a variety of TV shows including "Mutant X," "1-800 Missing," "The Sausage Factory" and "2gether: The Series."
